The variety belongs to the late-maturing category. The vines are characterized by very strong growth and high yield. The leaf is medium, five-lobed, medium or deeply dissected. The bunch is medium or large, dense, cylindrical-conical in shape. The berry is medium, round, amber-yellow in color.

The variety is well adapted to the climate of Greece, demonstrating high resistance to drought and heat, as well as fungal diseases, including downy mildew and powdery mildew. Due to its high productivity and vigor, it requires vine training and tying.

A wine variety that is a key component for the production of the Greek wine Retsina. With proper agrotechnical management, it allows for the production of high-quality dry white wines with medium body and aromas of yellow fruits, citrus, and flowers.
