Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the hybrids Seibel 6150 and Seibel 5455. Genetically, it contains genes from the species Vitis aestivalis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis cinerea, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis vinifera. It is a late-maturing variety that forms large, long, and compact bunches with medium-sized blue-black berries.

The plant is vigorous and productive, possessing good disease resistance, with the exception of susceptibility to anthracnose. Winter hardiness is assessed as medium. The juice has a high sugar content, but varietal wines produced from this variety have low organoleptic quality.

The variety has been used in breeding as a parent form. Currently, small planting areas are found in the Loire Valley, as well as in the USA and Canada.
