The variety has been known since the 15th century and was long considered practically extinct. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or conical-pyramidal in shape, sometimes winged. Berries are medium to medium-small in size, spherical or slightly oval, with an intense yellow or greenish-yellow skin color and a waxy bloom.

The plant is cultivated in a limited area of the Pordenone province using Guyot vine training systems. Wines produced from this variety possess an aromatic profile with notes of acacia, elderberry, and yellow bell pepper.
