Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety has a perfect flower. The leaf is rounded, deeply lobed, five-lobed, with a closed petiole sinus. The cluster is medium or small, cylindrical-conical in shape, of medium density. The berry is small, rounded, dark blue, covered with a thick waxy bloom; the skin is thin and prone to splitting.

The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. Yield is medium, about 7–8 tons per hectare. The plant is susceptible to downy mildew and prone to fruit set shedding.

Wines from this variety are characterized by an intense color with violet highlights, pronounced tannin levels, and aging potential. The aroma is dominated by notes of black pepper, violet, wild berries, and mulberry.
