The variety is a wine grape cultivar with dark-skinned berries. Wines produced from this variety possess characteristic floral aromas and pronounced notes of red fruits, including cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant.
Classic ampelographic identification of the variety was difficult due to the high variability of local populations, which is why genetic research methods using SSR markers were applied to identify the variety.
