The variety belongs to the group of Hungarian varieties starting with the letter «Z». The plant is distinguished by an early start of the vegetation period and moderate winter hardiness. When cultivated, the variety shows sensitivity to grey mold; the use of high-stem training systems and moderate canopy management are recommended.
The bunches are medium-sized, dense, and shouldered. The berries are of medium size, round, greenish-yellow in color, and covered with a thick and firm skin. Due to the physical properties of the berries and tannin content, careful and rapid processing of raw materials is required during winemaking.
The variety is suitable for creating both dry and dessert wines, including late-harvest wines. The taste of the finished wine is described as harmonious, with pronounced aromatics and a high level of acidity.
