The plant forms a dense crown with upright shoots. An adult shrub reaches a height of 60–70 cm and a width of 30–50 cm. Small oval leaves have an orange-copper shade in spring and summer; in autumn, the color becomes a more intense red or orange.
Flowering occurs in May–June with small yellow flowers; small red berries mature in September, often remaining on the branches until winter. The variety has high winter hardiness (zone 5b) and disease resistance.
Prefers sunny sites to maintain the brightness of leaf color and moderately moist, well-drained soils. Due to its compact structure, it is resistant to crown deformation.
