The Carboncella tree has medium vigor, an upright branching habit, and a small, moderately dense crown. The leaves are small, grey-green in color.

The fruits are medium-sized, weighing 2–2.5 g, and are round in shape. Upon ripening, they turn a dark purple, almost black color. The variety is distinguished by early onset of bearing.

The plant is resistant to peacock spot and olive knot. The variety also possesses high adaptability to arid conditions and good cold hardiness.
