The tree is tall, with an upright growth habit and a dense crown, characterized by moderately slow vegetative growth. The leaves are elliptical in shape and medium-sized. Small elliptical fruits change color from green to black upon ripening; their skin has a waxy bloom and small lenticels.
The variety is early-flowering, partially self-compatible, and suitable as a pollinator. With high and stable yield, the oil content of the fruits is 15–17%. The oil is characterized by a fruity aroma with notes of almond, tomato, and herbs, with a pronounced bitterness and a pungent aftertaste.
The plant has high vitality and exhibits tolerance to cold, olive scab, and olive knot. However, the variety has low resistance to the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa.
