ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety has a characteristic fruit shape with a distinct 'nipple' at the apex. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and an open canopy of medium density; the leaves are elliptical in shape. The variety enters bearing early and is characterized by high but alternate yields. It is a late-maturing variety.
The fruits are large, ovoid, and black when fully ripe, with soft and juicy flesh. The oil has a sweet fruity taste with notes of almond, green apple, and olive leaf, with moderate bitterness and pungency, although it has relatively low oxidative stability.
The variety adapts well to calcareous and moist soils and exhibits medium cold tolerance. It is resistant to leaf spot but highly susceptible to Verticillium wilt, olive knot, and olive peacock spot (leprosy). The high fruit attachment strength makes mechanical harvesting difficult. The pollen has high germination capacity, which allows the variety to be used as a pollinator.
