The tree is characterized by moderately vigorous growth and a sparse crown. The fruits are medium to large in size and have a characteristic elongated and slightly asymmetrical shape, with the stone easily separating from the flesh. The variety is an early ripening type, with harvest for canning taking place at the end of September.
The onset of bearing occurs relatively late; yields are average, with tendencies toward alternate bearing. The variety shows sensitivity to the olive fruit fly, but has low susceptibility to the fungal disease peacock spot and the olive moth.
