ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety is a local Apulian genotype resulting from historical selection. Genetic studies confirm the presence of relatedness between this variety and other varieties of the region, in particular with the Grappa variety.
Currently, the variety is included in projects for the conservation of olive genetic diversity, as many local varieties are under threat of extinction. Data on the resistance of the variety to the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa are absent, and it is not classified as resistant in scientific publications.
The variety is considered a genetic resource for the agriculture of the Apulia region. Its potential for oil production or use as table olives is being studied, however, detailed morphological characteristics and agronomic indicators are not presented in available sources.
