The variety is of French origin and is included in the official French catalogue of plant varieties. Its history is not documented, the breeder of the variety remains unknown, and the variety itself is considered a rare specimen that survived in old olive orchards after the frosts of 1956.

Specialized agronomic descriptions, including data on morphological traits, disease resistance, or yield, are absent. The variety was recognized as distinct during genetic research; however, its identification is difficult due to the dependence of external characteristics on growing conditions.
