ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety is characteristic of Italy, in particular the province of Pesaro and the Metauro valley. The literature indicates a genetic proximity of Raggiola to the Frantoio variety, differences between which are sometimes explained by the presence of a specific SLRSV virus.
The fruits have a medium size and a curved asymmetric shape. The oil derived from them possesses a fruity aroma with notes of tomato leaf and thistle, as well as moderate bitterness and a piquant aftertaste reminiscent of green pepper.
The primary purpose is oil production, both as a single-varietal and in blends, for example, in olive oil with the protected designation of origin Cartoceto DOP.
