The tree is characterized by strong growth and a dense, voluminous crown with medium-sized lanceolate leaves. The fruits have an average weight of about 2 g; their shape is ovoid, elongated, slightly curved, and asymmetrical. During the ripening process, the skin color changes from green to dark purple or almost black.
The variety is late-maturing; harvesting usually begins in mid-November. The flowering type is partially self-sterile, therefore pollinator varieties are required. The tree has medium cold resistance and high susceptibility to diseases: peacock spot and olive knot (tuberculosis).
The variety enters production early. The resulting oil is characterized by a high yield and a fruity, almond-like taste with slight bitterness and pungency. Due to the sweet flesh of the fruits, the variety is sometimes used not only for oil extraction but also as a table olive.
