The trees of the variety have an average height and an open crown type. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate in shape, of medium width. The fruits have an ovoid shape, and their average weight is about 4 grams.
The variety is used both for olive oil production and as a table olive for canning. The trees are well adapted to cold, as well as to calcareous and alkaline soils, but are sensitive to drought and salinization. Propagation is carried out by cuttings.
The variety demonstrates medium resistance to the fungus Spilocea oleaginae. It is known to be sensitive to olive knot and leprosy, while the variety is not considered particularly susceptible to the olive fruit fly.
