The variety is traditional for the provinces of Fermo, Macerata, and Ancona. The tree has high growth vigor, a voluminous and dense crown with a medium-ascending branching habit. The fruits are small in size and have an ellipsoid shape; harvesting is usually carried out in November.

The variety is used primarily for the production of olive oil, which possesses a medium fruity aroma with notes of almond, artichoke, and herbaceous undertones. The oil composition contains approximately 71% oleic acid and 11% linoleic acid, as well as significant amounts of polyphenols and chlorophyll.
