The plant is of a shrub type, often multi-stemmed, reaching a height of 1.5–2.5 meters and possessing a compact rounded crown. The variety is self-fertile and enters fruiting in the 3rd–4th year after planting.
Fruits are large, with a mass of 3–8 g, rounded in shape, dark red in color, becoming almost black upon ripening. The flesh is juicy, the taste is sweet or sweet-and-sour, with a sugar content of up to 14%. Ripening occurs from mid-July to August, and yield is up to 15–20 kg per plant.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness (down to –40 °C) and resistance to diseases and pests. It adapts well to urban conditions and is suitable for use in landscape design.
