The tree has medium to strong vigor, forming a pyramidal crown with drooping branches. The variety is adapted to various soil types, including windy sites. Fruit ripening occurs during the 5th–6th cherry week.
Fruits are large, round or broadly oval in shape, with dark brown, almost black skin resistant to cracking. The flesh is soft, separates well from the pit, and the juice is dark red. The variety shows resistance to Monilinia, but is susceptible to bacterial blight and leaf spot.
