The vines are characterized by medium vigor and hermaphrodite flowers. The leaves are five-lobed and turn red in autumn. The clusters are conical, often winged, of medium density, and weigh approximately 330 g. The berries are small, oval, dark red or purple in color with a waxy bloom and thin, firm skin.
The variety is distinguished by a high yield of up to 150 c/ha when using high-stem training. Frost resistance is up to -22 °C; the variety requires winter covering. Wines from this grape have a dense ruby color and mature within a year after harvest.
