Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and high developmental energy. It possesses good adaptation to Mediterranean and moderately continental climates, yet exhibits susceptibility to downy mildew.

The grapes are used primarily in winemaking. Due to the intense coloration of the pulp, the variety is used in blends to impart rich color to wines, as well as for the production of single-varietal wines with deep color and pronounced fruit and spice notes.
