Gark is a descendant of the Tribidrag variety. It is a wine grape variety used to produce dry white wines and the dessert wine Prošek. The variety is considered difficult to cultivate and requires specific conditions, in particular the sandy soils of the island of Korčula.
The flowers are functionally female and require mandatory interplanting with pollinator varieties, such as Plavac Mali or Rukatac. Due to incomplete pollination, the variety is characterized by millerandage in the clusters, which influences the quality of the finished wine.
