Ganson N grape variety belongs to technical (wine) varieties with a medium maturity group. The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Grenache noir and Jurançon noir varieties. Its berries have a dark, almost black skin color.
The plant is characterized by high yield. Wine produced from this variety has a pronounced fruit profile and soft tannins. Plantings of the variety are found in the south of France, in Spain and Australia.
