The vine is medium-growing. Leaves are medium-sized, ranging from almost entire to deeply lobed, with slight cobwebby pubescence on the underside. Clusters are small or medium, conical in shape, and predominantly loose. Berries are medium, round, dark blue, almost black in color, covered with a thick waxy bloom, with juicy, melting flesh.
A mid-season maturity variety, the period until harvest maturity is 141–156 days. Yield is unstable due to a tendency for flower drop. The variety has low resistance to downy mildew, gray mold, and anthracnose, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew. It is not resistant to severe winter frosts and spring frosts, although shoots mature well.
