The variety is an ancient indigenous Austrian grape with a medium-early ripening period. It is characterized by vigorous shoot growth and disease resistance standard for European varieties.

Bunches are large, conical in shape with wings. Berries are medium-sized, round, and light red in color. The variety is intended for the production of wines possessing a light fruity character with notes of almond, banana, and orchard fruits.
