Malvasia Cabral R belongs to the wine grape varieties of the species Vitis vinifera. The main distinguishing characteristic of the variety, as recorded in international catalogs, is the pink (rosé/red) color of the berries.
Data on agronomic characteristics, including maturity timing, vine parameters, leaf and bunch morphology, as well as disease resistance, are absent from open sources. Information on the low yield of the variety appears in the literature, but it is considered controversial due to frequent confusion within the Malvasia group of varieties.
