Variety description

The variety has medium vigor. The leaf is medium-sized, rounded, five-lobed, deeply cleft. The bunch is medium or medium-large, elongated, pyramidal, often with a wing, medium-dense or loose. The berry is medium-sized, rounded, golden-yellow in color, covered with a thick bloom.

The variety matures in medium or medium-late periods. Sensitive to downy mildew and fruit set shedding, shows medium resistance to powdery mildew and grey mold. Sensitive to frosts, although resistance to winter cold and late spring frosts has been noted.

The grape is used for the production of wines ranging from dry to sweet and passito, and can also be used as a table grape. The juice is characterized by a high sugar content and good acidity, and the finished wines are distinguished by pronounced aromas of apricot, peach, acacia, and citrus.
