Variety description

The variety belongs to the Malvasia family and is characterized by high growth vigor. Clusters are loose, and berries have thin golden skin and yellow-golden pulp. The plant is best adapted to warm climatic conditions and volcanic soils.

The variety is sensitive to spring frosts and is prone to Oidium. Long pruning of at least nine buds is recommended. In wine production, the variety can be used either as a monovarietal or blended with a small percentage of Corinto Nero grapes.
