The variety belongs to the Malvasia family and is genetically related to the Croatian variety Maraština. The leaf is medium or large in size, five-lobed, with dense cobwebby-bristly pubescence on the underside. The bunch is large, cylindrical-conical in shape, often with three wings, and of a dense structure.
The berries are medium-small, round, yellowish-golden in color, with a firm and resilient skin. The variety belongs to the early-mid maturity group and is characterized by high yield. The grapes accumulate a large amount of sugar, which makes them suitable for the production of dessert wines through withering.
The variety does not possess high resistance to diseases. Susceptibility to downy mildew, powdery mildew, as well as grey and sour rot is noted, especially in high humidity conditions. When overripe or in excess moisture, the berries are prone to rotting.
