The variety is of Italian origin and is a natural hybrid between the Malvasia aromatica di Parma variety and an unknown variety. It is exclusively a technical (wine) grape intended for the production of dry, sparkling, fortified, and dessert wines.
The ripening period is early or medium-early. The leaf is rounded, five-lobed. The bunches are cylindro-conical, medium-density. The berries are medium-sized, rounded, yellowish-green in color with a waxy bloom. The vines have medium vigor and high yield, requiring control.
The variety is characterized by low resistance to frosts and fungal diseases, in particular, it is susceptible to grey mold in high humidity. Wines made from it are distinguished by honey, floral, and fruity notes, and a soft taste with moderate acidity.
