The variety is an ancient and distinct representative of the Malvasia group. It possesses medium vigor. The leaf is medium-sized, five-lobed, and deeply dissected.

The bunch is cylindrical-conical in shape, of medium density, weighing from 300 to 400 g. The berries are small, round, greenish-yellow to slightly reddish in color, and covered with a waxy bloom.

Wine grape variety, adapted to the climatic conditions of the Basilicata highlands. Capable of maintaining natural acidity during the ripening process.
