The variety belongs to the group with a medium duration of ripening. The vine has medium vigor, the flower is hermaphroditic. The leaf is medium-sized, wedge-shaped or pentagonal, three- or five-lobed, with moderate pubescence on the underside. The bunch is medium or large in size, conical or broad-conical in shape, dense or very dense. The berry is oval, medium or large, golden-white in color with a waxy bloom; it may develop a brownish tan in the sun.
The variety shows medium resistance to fungal diseases and is susceptible to grey mold, while being drought-tolerant. It is capable of growing in poor soils, but is sensitive to magnesium deficiency. Yield is medium, the sugar content of the berry juice is moderate or low. Currently, the variety is rare and has many synonyms, including Aragnan, Gallet Blanc, and Grosse Clairette.
