The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera and has medium to high vigor. Leaves are medium-sized, rounded, three- or five-lobed, and rugose. Clusters are small or medium, weighing 80–100 g, and cylindrical in shape. Berries are medium, rounded, greenish-white in color with a yellowish tint, small brown dots, and a waxy bloom.
The plant possesses good frost resistance, however, it is susceptible to Botrytis cinerea. The variety is intended for the production of a wide range of white wines, from dry to dessert, including ice wines. A long period under cool climate conditions is required during the ripening process.
