Variety description

Genetic analysis showed that the variety is a natural hybrid between the Branestraube variety and an unknown variety. The plant has high yield, but is characterized by susceptibility to low temperatures and fungal diseases.

The leaves of the variety are pentagonal, five-lobed, and deeply dissected, with no pronounced pubescence on the underside. Bunches are of medium or large size and have a dense structure. The berries are round, of medium size, covered with a waxy bloom of medium density, and have juicy, fleshy pulp and skin of medium thickness.

The variety is multipurpose, suitable both for fresh consumption and for the production of light wines. In the past, it was widely distributed in the Rhône region, however, at the moment, plantings of the variety are extremely limited.
