The variety is the result of a natural cross between an unknown variety and Gouais blanc. The vine has medium vigor; the yield of the variety is medium and stable. Leaves are medium or large in size, three-lobed or almost entire, with no pubescence on the underside.

Bunches are small, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, of moderate density. Berries are medium-sized, yellow-green in color, and slightly flattened at the poles. The variety is sensitive to fungal diseases, in particular susceptible to gray mold, while drought tolerance is noted.

A wine grape variety used for the production of dry white, sparkling, and "orange" wines, as well as grappa. Wines made from it are characterized by high acidity, minerality, and floral and citrus aromas.
