The variety is characterized as vigorous, possessing good resistance to frosts and spring frosts, which adapts it to the Alpine climate. At the same time, the plant is susceptible to fungal diseases, such as powdery mildew and gray mold, requiring special control during periods of high humidity.

The berries are of medium size, spherical in shape, and dark red, almost violet-blue in color at maturity. Wines produced using this variety are valued for their intense color, freshness, and aging potential, although the variety is distinguished by a relatively low level of sugar accumulation.
