The variety is a type of the Muscat group with large, cylindrical, medium-density clusters. The medium-sized berries have a round or slightly elongated shape with thick skin, the color of which varies from pink to reddish. The five-lobed rounded leaves have a slightly blistered surface and an open V-shaped petiole sinus.
This grape belongs to late maturity groups and requires warm, well-ventilated locations for cultivation. The variety is sensitive to fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and gray mold, and is also prone to flower abortion and damage from spring frosts due to early bud break.
The primary purpose is the production of white wines, which are characterized by muscat notes with hints of rose, citrus, and spices. In some cases, it is grown as a table grape variety. Despite being permitted for cultivation in many countries, the variety has not gained wide distribution.
