Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a color mutation that occurred naturally. Externally, it differs from the parent variety by the reddish hue of the berry skin, while it is often classified as a grape with white characteristics. Bunches are loose; berries have a thick skin.

The plant is characterized by strong growth and belongs to early-maturing varieties. Compared to the base variety, it shows less susceptibility to grey mold and berry drop, but it remains sensitive to typical fungal diseases.

Intended for winemaking. Wines possess a fresh fruity taste with a light muscat tone and low acidity. The variety is also used in the production of orange wines with prolonged contact of the must with the skin.
