The variety is a color mutation of the classic white Riesling. Externally, it is almost identical to the base variety, but the berries have a color ranging from pink to reddish. A specific feature is the ability to form both pink and white berries simultaneously on the same vine or in the same cluster.

The plant belongs to late-ripening varieties with moderate vigor. The berry skin is thicker than that of white Riesling, which increases resistance to Botrytis cinerea, while the variety shows moderate sensitivity to powdery mildew and downy mildew.

The variety is used for the production of white wines that are stylistically close to classic Riesling, possessing high acidity and minerality. The wines are distinguished by a more structured body and pronounced spicy and fruity notes.
