The variety has medium vigor, and shoots are prone to upright growth. Leaves are medium-sized, rounded, three- or five-lobed. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, of medium density. Berries are medium-sized, black-blue with thick skin.

The plant has good resistance to diseases, temperature fluctuations, summer heat, and wind. The variety is prone to low yields, which contributes to obtaining concentrated raw material. Wines are distinguished by intense color, high concentration of tannins, and acidity.

The aromatic profile includes notes of black pepper, black fruits, spices, chocolate, leather, smoke, and earth. In cool climates, pepper notes dominate in the wines, while in hot climates, fruity "jammy" tones and soft spices prevail.
