The variety was obtained by crossing the hybrid form Mtp 3179-90-7 and the variety Bronner. It is characterized by the deep color of the wines produced from it and belongs to the category of second-generation resistant varieties.
High resistance to fungal diseases is achieved due to the presence of specific genes, such as RPV-10, inherited from the Bronner variety. The crop is used as part of a strategy to reduce the environmental impact of grape cultivation.
