Kidd’s Orange Red is a product of crossing Cox’s Orange Pippin and Red Delicious. This is a medium-sized tree with round-conical fruits that possess a dark red blush over a yellow background. The variety is resistant to scab but shows a tendency toward canker diseases.
Golden Orange is a winter variety with a spreading crown and medium vigor. Its fruits have a truncated-conical shape, a yellow color with a blush, as well as firm, juicy flesh with a sweet-sour taste.
