Morosino is a local Italian olive genotype widespread in the Apulia region. Research using molecular markers has shown genetic identity between the Morosino and Pizzuta della Daunia varieties.

In the literature, the variety is classified as one of the local sweet olives. Detailed agronomic characteristics, product quality indicators, and information regarding disease resistance are not available in open sources.
