The Královna Hortensie variety, also known as Židovka, belongs to the Duke cherry type. The fruits have an oblong, ovoid, or slightly heart-shaped form and thin shiny skin. The fruit stalk is noticeably long and thin.
This variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators, for which sour cherry varieties such as Morela are recommended. The growth habit of the tree is described contradictorily: some sources indicate low vigor, while others indicate vigorous growth with the formation of a high spherical crown.
