The variety was obtained through open pollination of the elite form D 38-31, which is a hybrid of the varieties «Nord Star» and «Valeriy Chkalov». The tree reaches a height of 3–4 meters; the crown is of medium density, spherical or spreading. The ripening period occurs in the second to third decade of June.

The fruits are large, weighing 7–8 g, oblate-round in shape, and dark red in color. The flesh is juicy, firm, and sweet-sour; the stone separates well. The variety is self-sterile or partially self-fertile; other cherry and sweet cherry varieties are suitable for pollination.

The variety possesses resistance to fungal diseases, winter hardiness, and drought tolerance. The fruits have a universal purpose and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
