Babica Plosnaja, also known as Babica plosnata and Babica velika, is a technical grape variety with black berries. The origin of the variety has not been established with certainty; at the beginning of the 20th century, it was cultivated in the Biograd area and on the island of Pašman.
The variety possesses a unique genetic profile. It is currently classified as critically endangered. In the VIVC international grape variety catalog, it is mentioned as a variety or synonym of the Babić variety, although it is distinguished as an independent autochthonous variety in a number of specialized publications.
