The variety is a hybrid of Silvaner × Riesling with Müller-Thurgau. The vine has medium vigor and forms medium-sized, compact, cylindrical-conical bunches. Berries are medium to small, yellow-green, round or slightly oval, and covered with a thin skin.

The variety is characterized by poor frost resistance and susceptibility to fungal diseases, and is also prone to gray mold and wasp attacks. Due to early bud break, the vine is vulnerable to spring frosts.

It is used exclusively for wine production. Wines produced from it are noted for high aromatics with notes of gooseberry, flowers, and fruits, reminiscent of wines made from Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling.
