The variety is a white mutation of the red variety Trousseau Noir and is autochthonous to the Canary Islands. The crop belongs to early-ripening varieties, forming small-sized leaves and oval greenish-yellow berries with tough skins.
The plant has a high susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea. The variety is grown under conditions of extreme viticulture on volcanic soils, often cultivated on its own roots.
The grapes are intended exclusively for winemaking. The resulting white wines are characterized by notes of citrus, white fruits, honey, and flowers, reflecting the mineral characteristics of the growing soils and possessing aging potential.
