A dual-purpose variety used both for fresh consumption and for the production of neutral light red wines, often as blending material. The plant has an early-mid ripening period and bisexual flowers.
Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, prone to deformation due to high berry density. Berries are small, round, pink with thin skin and a waxy bloom; the flesh is meaty-juicy with a harmonious taste.
Leaves are round, nearly entire, five-lobed, with sparse bristly pubescence on the underside. The variety is characterized by low resistance to fungal diseases and frost, yet it is capable of growing in the specific climatic conditions of mountain zones.
