Variety description

The variety is a rootstock bred through selection involving several wild grape species, including Vitis champinii, Vitis rufotomentosa, Vitis riparia and Vitis monticola. The plant has medium vigor and forms straight canes with good internodes.

The rootstock is characterized by high resistance to phylloxera and a wide range of nematodes, including root-knot, dagger, citrus and Lesion nematodes. It exhibits moderate tolerance to soil salinity and drought, and also demonstrates good graft compatibility with various grape varieties.
